DESCRIPTION:
European Schoolnet (EUN Partnership) is looking for a Web editing and Technical Support Trainee for the European School Education Platform project to help analyse and address technical issues.
The traineeship gives the opportunity to work in a dynamic team within European Schoolnet, an international non-profit organisation located in Brussels. You will be working on European School Education Platform, a multifaceted project for the European Commission targeted at teachers and educators across Europe.
Together with a multidisciplinary team you will be involved in testing and reporting about existing and new features of the platform, provide comments on user stories, publish content on a learning management system (Moodle) and on a content management system (Drupal). The technical team of which you will be a part of meets on a weekly basis, stands ready to guide and support you in your daily tasks, and enables you to gain first-hand experience with different tasks.

MAIN TASKS:
The future intern will:
- Contribute to technical release testing of platform features and reporting about them;
- Support the team in reviewing user stories and mock-ups;
- Carry out web editing using a content and/or learning management systems (Drupal, Moodle).
YOUR PROFILE:
The candidate should be:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, digital media, etc.);
- Basic knowledge of web design processes and web mastering;
- A professional proficiency of English, both spoken and written;
- Strong problem-solving skills and a pro-active approach to assigned tasks;
- Ability to (re)organise individual priorities/daily tasks based on requests from end-users and colleagues.
A positive attitude, being a fast learner and interested in learning by doing.
Nice to have
- Basic experience with technical requirements documents and/or user stories;
- Experience with Drupal CMS;
- Experience with Moodle course management;
- Familiarity with HTML.
USEFUL INFORMATION:
- Duration of contract: 6 months’ internship starting as soon as possible from the 01 September 2025;
- Number of vacancies: 1;
- Deadline for applications: Until the place is filled. Early application is recommended;
- Location: European Schoolnet, Rue de Treves, 61, Brussels, Belgium. The trainee will have to be domiciled in Belgium during the traineeship;
- Permit: Applicants must be EU citizens or already possess a valid work permit for Belgium;
- Benefits:
- A stipend of 1100 €/month net for the duration of the internship;
- Hybrid position: Possibility to work remotely from the Belgian residence up to three days per week (office days: Tuesday and Wednesday);
- Up to 10 days remote working from outside Belgium during the internship.
