We are looking for a dynamic and creative VP of Marketing to head our Life Sciences Marketing & Strategy team based in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.

As the VP of Marketing for N-SIDE Life Sciences, you will be instrumental in driving marketing strategies tailored specifically for the clinical trial supply chain industry. Reporting directly to the Managing Director Life Science, you will lead our marketing initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to elevate our brand, capture targeted leads, and solidify our position as industry leaders. You’ll be an integral part of the Life Science Steering Committee

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

  • Life Sciences Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies specifically designed for the life sciences sector, aligning with our divisional goals to enhance brand recognition and market penetration;

  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a talented marketing team, providing strategic guidance, mentorship, and support to maximize their potential. Foster a culture of creativity, impact, accountability and passion for the industry;

  • Industry Positioning: Define and strengthen our position as a leader in optimization for clinical trials supply, crafting targeted messaging and campaigns to resonate with our audience. Define and execute the Go-to-Market strategy of new services and products;

  • Innovation & lead generation: Bring innovation to our marketing department and challenge the status quo to achieve greater success in generating sales and nurturing customer relationships. Evolve the currently-used marketing techniques towards more of a SaaS marketing approach in a niche market, ensuring adequate & efficient lead generation. Drive targeted lead generation efforts through tailored B2B marketing channels, including content marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), industry partnerships, and targeted events. Explore and implement innovative technologies like generative AI to boost efficiency;

  • Product Marketing: Collaborate closely with product teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new solutions, ensuring alignment with industry needs and trends;

  • Sales Enablement: Partner with the sales team to provide them with tailored marketing collateral, tools, and insights to effectively engage and convert leads into customers within the life sciences domain;

  • Budget Management & metrics: Establish clear metrics and KPIs to measure the performance of our marketing initiatives. Regularly evaluate and optimize strategies to maximize ROI and drive continuous improvement. Efficiently manage the marketing budget, allocating resources to initiatives that deliver maximum impact.


ABOUT YOU:

  • Proven track record (10+ years) in senior marketing roles within international B2B SaaS/software companies, specifically targeting niche markets, with demonstrated success in building a 360 marketing strategy & driving growth;

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of leading and developing high-performing marketing teams while collaborating effectively with cross-functional departments;

  • Deep understanding of B2B marketing strategies, including ABM, content marketing, and partnership development within niche markets;

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data to refine marketing strategies;

  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability to tailor messaging to resonate with a specific niche audience;

  • Experience in the life sciences industry, including clinical trials, supply chain is a strong plus;

  • Creative, with fun and original ideas, and an innate passion for the marketing landscape. An innovator’s mindset;

  • Your vibrant energy is not just a personal trait but a catalyst that ignites enthusiasm among both colleagues and clients;

  • Masters’ degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field; an MBA is a plus;

  • Experience in pricing is an asset;

  • Fluent in English at a native or bilingual level.
