  • Position: Policy Advisor;

  • Location: Brussels;

  • Type of employment: VIE (full-time, 2 years contract with possibility of extension);

  • Starting date: as soon as possible;

  • VIE mandatory eligibility criteria: EEA citizens, aged between 18 and 28 included.


We are looking for a Policy Advisor to support our team on regulatory developments relevant to the parcel delivery sector, both at European and international level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Policy monitoring and analysis - identify challenges and opportunities, provide regulatory advice;

  • Support the development of corporate position papers;

  • Draft support material (policy papers, briefings, ppt presentations, memos, …);

  • Support the coordination of the corporate regulatory affairs network;

  • Support and participate in outreach activities (e.g. institutional meetings and related support material);

  • Liaise & maintain an active collaboration with relevant trade associations;

  • Regulatory support to business development.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University Degree;

  • 2 years of professional experience in regulatory affairs, institutional relations or relevant field;

  • Knowledge of the EU political landscape and decision-making processes;

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders;

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to undertake an evidence-based approach to research, with an eye for detail and accuracy;

  • Ability to synthesize complex information into accessible and succinct messages;

  • Creative self-starter, ability to work in an international team;

  • Demonstrate cultural competency and inclusivity, and the ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders across diverse backgrounds;

  • Min. C1 English level is required, other UN languages are an asset.
