THE ROLE:
- Full ownership of local trade Operating & Game Plan, leading strategic direction, development and best-in-class execution of brand activations for both On & Off Trade channels;
- Close collaboration with Sales, Brand, Brand Content Deployment, Category Management and other company departments to ensure a coordinated approach to trade marketing campaigns;
- Ensure plans align with company and brand objectives in collaboration with customers to grow ABI share and volume;
- Support the sales team nurturing relations with customers and understanding key account needs. Ensure strong sell in and relevance of our activation plans, including trade visits to be in the priority markets and at the POC;
- Track and manage costs to guarantee delivery of the game plan within the budget and set KPIs to ensure measurement and impact of activations to drive business results;
- Develop commercial plans for Global Brands and Local Jewels by adapting toolkits to channel implementation. Ensure all customer brand activations reflect brand values/Visual Brand Identity/Core Creative Idea and strategies while aligning with account goals;
- Strong project management of key projects such as the launch of innovations in the markets, including full execution from timelines, KPI setting and budget management;
- Work closely on procurement, stock management and delivery of POCM and ensure best practice implementation with the sales team and customers;
- Responsible for guaranteeing brand consistency through execution, by:
- Developing and providing the right POCM and necessary tools for Perfect Execution;
- Targeting the right channels in alignment with Sales Objectives and Shared KPIs;
- Training wholesaler/Sales Reps (internal and external).
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- University Degree (or equivalent): a solid educational foundation to support your professional journey;
- At least 1 year of experience in an FMCG environment: bring your industry know-how to drive real impact;
- Project Management expertise: showcase your ability to lead and deliver successful projects;
- Experience in Brand, Trade Marketing, or Category Management (preferred): leverage your marketing or commercial skills to make a difference;
- Eager to learn: either come with proven knowledge of our business or show a clear aptitude to quickly master it;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills: proven ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels;
- Strategic thinker and self-starter: you’re fast-moving, driven, and take ownership, ready to make decisions like an entrepreneur;
- Adaptable and agile: thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where change is the only constant;
- Fluent in English: an additional language (such as Swedish) would be a plus, but it’s not essential;
- Located in Leuven: you’re flexible and willing to travel within the work scope, and open to future relocation opportunities.
