CONTEXT:
Within MSF’s Communication and Fundraising department in Belgium, the Support and Solutions team provides transversal and strategic support to key units including Info & Media, Public Engagement, Direct Dialogue and donors acquisition, Donor Retention and Strategic Partners, helping them enhance their impact through optimized digital tools, platforms, and user experiences.
As the Systems Analyst, you will serve as the technical backbone of the organization’s Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud environment, ensuring its stability, scalability, and alignment with fundraising operations. Your position combines technical troubleshooting, system maintenance, vendor collaboration, and system optimization to enhance data integrity, user experience, and backend functionality across the organization’s digital ecosystem.

As the Systems Analyst, you will serve as the technical backbone of the organization’s Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud environment, ensuring its stability, scalability, and alignment with fundraising operations. Your position combines technical troubleshooting, system maintenance, vendor collaboration, and system optimization to enhance data integrity, user experience, and backend functionality across the organization’s digital ecosystem.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and optimize custom developments within Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud, assessing their impact on system performance and data architecture;
- Monitor and troubleshoot data flows and integrations between Salesforce and other platforms, ensuring data integrity and availability in support of fundraising operations;
- Diagnose and resolve backend issues, bugs, and escalated technical inquiries across CRM and CMS platforms used by the fundraising team;
- Collaborate with external vendors to scope, test, and implement new Salesforce features, modules, and enhancements tailored to nonprofit fundraising needs;
- Conduct functional testing and validation of new features, upgrades, and releases prior to deployment;
- Recommend backend enhancements to improve system scalability, reliability, and user experience across the organization’s digital ecosystem;
- Document technical procedures, bug resolutions, and system configurations to support internal knowledge sharing and operational continuity;
- Perform basic Salesforce maintenance tasks including user management, system updates, and configuration reviews.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience with Salesforce (SF) administration and configuration, ideally including Non-Profit Cloud and SF mobile; certifications are a strong asset;
- Knowledge of FinDock is an asset;
- Prior experience with digital ecosystems and basic understanding of solution architecture; familiarity with tools like MS Datafactory, MS Fabric, HubSpot, Drupal, and donation platforms is a strong asset.
Competencies
- Strong ability to monitor and troubleshoot data integrations and platform interactions, especially in fundraising & NGO environments;
- Solid understanding of custom Salesforce developments and ability to collaborate effectively with external vendors;
- Knowledge of workflow automation, backend support, and issue resolution;
- Competence in functional testing and validation of system changes;
- Skilled in documenting technical procedures and solutions developed through transversal collaboration with technical and business teams.
Languages
- Proficiency in English, both spoken & written is mandatory.
CONDITIONS:
- Expected starting date: As soon as possible;
- Location: Brussels (Belgium);
- Contract type: Open-ended contract – full-time;
- Salary according to MSF-OCB Head Office salary grid;
