At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Software Architect to join our UniQue team.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
- Manage the development team and all the strategic projects assigned to it, as well as the risks and stakeholders;
- Work with the Business analyst to gather requirements and created the roadmaps for each year;
- Plan the projects and created the necessary artefacts;
- Organise and manage user acceptance testing campaigns (UAT);
- Follow up of new technologies and eventual adoption by the sector;
- Development and integration of multiple information systems or modules into corporate solutions;
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the systems;
- Support the efficient project team work by putting in place and following agile practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
What do you need to succeed in this position
- Master's degree in IT field with minimum 13 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's degree with minimum 17 years of relevant experience);
- Proven 10 years experience in Java-related technologies, including J2EE, JSP, JDBC, Log4J,XML/XSL/XSLT, XQuery, XPath and Oracle WebLogic;
- Minimum of 10 years experience in service-oriented architecture and web services: RESTful API, SOAP,WSDL, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Oracle Service Bus, YAML;
- Strong experience in relational database management systems Oracle SQL, PL/SQL;
- Excellent knowledge of the design and development of web applications;
- Strong knowledge of web technologies and standards (e.g. HTML5, XML);
- Excellent experience of coding best practices, software design and architecture patterns;
- Good knowledge of IT security concepts and secure coding guidelines.
Desirable
- A PM professional certification would be an asset.
