DESCRIPTION:

As a Simulation Engineer, you'll work with a multidisciplinary team to develop groundbreaking fiber optic telecommunications technologies. Your role involves supporting mechanical design through Finite Element Analysis and precision tolerance calculations, focusing on Datacenter connectivity applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct Finite Element Analysis and Precision Tolerance calculations for Datacenter connectivity applications;


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on advanced technology development projects;


• If needed, aid with hands-on engineering testing and experimentation in a lab environment to validate the FEA.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Master/PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering;


• Experience with Finite Element Analysis: Ansys or LSDyna, especially in nonlinear analysis, contact modelling and static analysis of metals, plastics and ceramics of micro – to mm parts;


• Strong skills in precision tolerance calculations, analytical modeling, and proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably Creo);


• Familiarity with molding/manufacturing technologies and data processing/analysis;


• Hands-on experience with lab testing and experimentation to validate designs and simulations.
