Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

  • You provide individualized support to residents with learning difficulties or special needs.

  • You assess and diagnose learning challenges.

  • You develop and implement personalized remedial education plans.

  • You use various teaching techniques and materials to address specific learning needs.

  • You monitor and track progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.

  • You collaborate with the educators and other inhouse team to ensure comprehensive support.

  • You stay updated on the latest developments in remedial education and teaching methods.

  • You maintain accurate records of progress and interventions.

Successful Candidate
LEVEL OF EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or any relevant certifications in education.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Minimum 8years of relevant experience in a similar social care environment

  • Proficiency in identifying and addressing learning difficulties.

  • Strong communication and patience when working with learners.

  • Adaptability to tailor teaching methods to individual needs.

  • Knowledge of various remedial teaching strategies and resources.

  • Empathy and understanding of offenders facing learning challenges.

  • Ability to create and implement personalized learning plans.

  • Fluency in French, with proficiency in other languages being an asset
