We are seeking a Senior Scientist who is innovative, detail-oriented, and collaborative to join our Analytical Development Sciences for Biologicals (ADSB) team, based in Braine-l’alleud, Belgium.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior Scientist in our Bioanalytical Development group, you will play a key role in designing experiments, managing laboratory activities, and ensuring the successful development and validation of biological methods from early clinical phases to commercial stages.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH:

You will collaborate with a dedicated team of scientists within the Biological Method Development group. You will also interact with cross-functional teams, regulatory departments, and external partners to ensure smooth analytical knowledge transfer and regulatory compliance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Design experiments and manage daily laboratory activities in bioanalytical method development;

  • Be responsible for reviewing and approving documentation like protocols and reports;

  • Analyze and verify experimental data, presenting results to project teams;

  • Represent Analytical Development Sciences for Biologicals (ADSB) in cross-functional project teams and liaise with regulatory teams;

  • Provide scientific assistance to solve analytical issues in the lab;

  • Contribute to the implementation of new technologies and act as a backup for the group leader.


INTERESTED:

For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills:

  • Master’s Degree in Bioanalytical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related field;

  • Proven experience with bioanalytical techniques, including bioassays, ELISA, qPCR, and electrophoresis;

  • Strong laboratory skills and ability to manage complex projects;

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, GMP/GSP rules, and experience in the biotech industry;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented mindset;

  • Very good command in English.
