The Senior Category Buyer is responsible for creating and implementing European strategies for Capex and MRO categories.

This includes leading strategic sourcing projects and other initiatives to drive the success of these strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Category Strategy & Sourcing: Support the deployment of the RPO category strategy for Capex & MRO Europe. Define and execute sourcing activities aligned with internal requirements, including managing RFPs and contracts;

  • Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships by monitoring key deliverables such as SLAs, KPIs, and financials. Ensure compliance with internal policies throughout the sourcing process;

  • Procurement Operations: Drive procurement within the European scope, monitor category and contract performance, resolve contract issues, and ensure timely renewals. Support budget planning by providing local market insights;

  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Challenge existing processes to enhance efficiency and procurement results. Identify and initiate innovation projects with internal teams and suppliers;

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure alignment with targets. Engage with the Global Procurement Office to support strategy deployment at regional and local levels;

  • Compliance & Reporting: Uphold compliance with corporate policies, including the Code of Business Conduct, and ensure accurate analytics reporting on volumes, prices, and variances.


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience;

  • Strong analytical and project management skills;

  • Fluent in English;

  • Experience in Capex & MRO or a passion for machinery maintenance;

  • Category management experience is a plus;

  • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and drive strategic procurement initiatives.
