Are you looking for an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects within the field of Talent Attraction and Acquisition? MSF Belgium is looking for an intern for its Recruitment team for 3-6 months (with an internship agreement delivered by a school/university).

Within the HR department of MSF Belgium (Operational Center Brussels), the Recruitment n Unit (RU) is the go-to unit for all issues and activities related to recruitment. Indeed, the unit:

  • Recruits International Mobile staff to meet the OCB HR operational needs;

  • Ensures the recruitment expertise and support to HQ recruitment processes;

  • Gives methodological support for field Locally Hired Staff recruitment;

  • Develops and implements Talent attraction & sourcing strategies and activities.


As an intern your role within the Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Unit is to support the Support & Marketing Officers whose main responsibilities are threefold:

  • Administration & support;

  • Talent attraction and marketing activities and tools development and implementation;

  • Information, communication, processes and knowledge management support.


Your tasks will vary widely and provide the opportunity to gather work experience across many facets of Talent acquisition Administration & HR Marketing.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Support and administration  

  • Be in charge of treating and answering daily to the emails and questions received from Recruitment unit’s generic email addresses;

  • Be in charge of daily follow-up of job opening and publication requests;

  • Plan the HR intakes for recruiters and other relevant stakeholders (line manager, HR HQ referent,...);

  • Provide support to the recruiters and the Marketing & support officers for recruitment related activities such as, depending on the need, planning interviews and meeting rooms, sending answers to candidates;

  • Be in charge of administrative and logistic support of the unit: team meeting agendas, templates, reminders, follow-ups, room bookings, etc;

  • Provide support for monthly statistics and data collection tools using Excel.


Talent attraction and marketing  

  • Be in charge of publishing job vacancies on the proper channels;

  • Create attractive illustrative visuals for social media publications;

  • Participate in the development and implementation our digital calendar and content for social media;

  • Provide support for translations of job descriptions and other documents or content;

  • Provide support and participate in any recruitment marketing strategies, activities and projects (Info session recruitment webinars, Leaflets or posters, events,…).


Information, knowledge and processes management

  • Provide support for cleaning & updating all files on recruitment SharePoint;

  • Contribute to the finalization/diffusion/communication of our guidelines and processes (design, attractivity, user- friendly, etc.).


DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

  • Studies ongoing in the field of HR, Administration, Communication, International Relations, Work Psychology or any other relevant field;

  • Knowledge, experience &/or interest in Talent attraction & acquisition, Administration, HR and Employer branding activities;

  • Knowledge, experience &/or interest in social media, digital marketing, copywriting, website... and associated tools or programs;

  • Ability to work autonomously; Proactivity; Flexibility; Team player;

  • Excellent writing skills and orthograph;

  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written). Dutch is an asset.


CONDITIONS: 

  • Expected starting date: June/July 2025, August/September 2025, October/November 2025;

  • Location: Brussels (Belgium) - necessity to be present at the Brussels Office. Due to legal administrative constraints, future interns must already reside in Belgium with the right to stay and study in Belgium within a Belgian study establishment; or reside in Europe as part of studies in a European study establishment (accepting that the internship is carried out in another European country), have a right of residence and study in Europe and be ready to move and find accommodation in Belgium for the duration of the internship at their own expense;

  • Contract type: Unpaid student Internship - mandatory student internship with school convention;

  • Internship duration: 3 to 6 months;

  • Time allocation: Full-time;

  • Free canteen – 100% reimbursement for public transportation costs in Belgium;
