MDI Global, based in Brussels, is the sister organisation of Media Diversity Institute in London. TASKS:

  • Assist the project manager of the CHASE project in reporting and administration;

  • Aid in seeking funding and developing project applications;

  • Report project deliverables to the Head of Operations and Finance Officer;

  • Coordinate logistics for project-related travel and accommodation;

  • Help in the organisation of training sessions, workshops, or other capacity-building activities;

  • Assist with communications and outreach activities for projects;

  • Additional duties as consistent with the above responsibilities may be assigned as needed and in agreement with project managers / head of operations.


PROFILE: 

Ideal for candidates who have completed a master’s degree in EU Affairs, European Studies, Communications, Project Management, International Development, or related fields.

Proficiency in English required; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is advantageous.

OBJECTIVES:

The internship will provide guidance and experience and offer a glimpse into the working environment of a media development NGO with supervision from senior staff. The successful candidate will develop various skills such as communication, research, planning, teamwork, leadership, and technical abilities, putting into practice the skills they learnt in their studies. The project assistant role will provide opportunities to develop business contacts and network whilst working with a young, passionate and fun team.
