The role of Project Officer is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the EU and contribute to our core activities, including the implementation of key projects and outreach activities. We are seeking a highly motivated, driven young professional to join our fun, dedicated, and multinational team at our office on Place Luxembourg.
REQUIREMENTS:
To perform their role, the Project Officer will be in contact with a variety of funders, institutional stakeholders and civil society organisations and have the opportunity to participate in various communication, advocacy and capacity building projects’ development, implementation and reporting.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Salary package including 13th salary and paid holidays (following Belgian law), as well as homeworking allowance, public transport and mobile phone reimbursement, hospitalisation insurance and holidays package (starting from the first year).
The contract will initially run until 31.12.2025 with the possibility of extension according to performance and funding availability.

- Knowledge of EU funding programmes;
- Experience of project application, implementation and reporting;
- Strong research and analytical skills;
- Strong organization skills;
- Ability to reach out and gather information from third parties;
- Ability to process and present data and information;
- Knowledge of the EU institutions;
- Knowledge of Excel and similar software;
- Confident and independent;
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- University degree, preferably in social sciences;
- Young professional at the start of their career;
- A pro-active and dynamic personality, with team spirit, ability to multi-task, well-organised, flexible;
- Proficiency in English, knowledge in French/Dutch is an advantage.
