ENSIE, the European Network of Social Integration Enterprises unites national and regional networks of work integration social enterprises throughout Europe. Its mission is to defend the interests of its members at the European level, to organize exchanges between them and to cooperate closely with other social economy actors. The team is composed of 6 people: a Director, 2 Policy Officers, 1 Projects Coordinator, 1 Administrative and Financial Assistant and 1 Communication Officer. The network is looking for a new Project officer.

YOUR MISSION:

Under the guidance and with the support of the  Director and the Board of directors

  • You will manage two European projects in which ENSIE is participating as coordinator organisation. The tasks are the following:

    1. Management of the projects activities and budget;

    2. Liaising with project partners;

    3. Preparation of administrative and financial justification of the projects (technical and financial reporting);

    4. Promotion of the projects (internally and externally) with the support of the communication officer.



  • You will manage the different topics developed by the two projects: green & circular Economy and responsible consumption, cooperation between Work Integration Social Enterprises and mainstreamed businesses;

  • You will work on the implementation of the fundraising strategy of the network, linked to the development of private projects and collaborations;

  • You will support the Projects Coordinator in the preparation of new European and national proposals.


YOUR PROFILE:

  • You are a motivated person, enthusiastic to work in a multicultural and international environment. You enjoy working independently, in close collaboration with your colleagues. You work accurately, efficiently, and autonomously, even under pressure;

  • You demonstrate an experience in project management of at least 3 years;

  • You have strong writing skills and an excellent command of both oral and written English and French;

  • You have a good knowledge of the European Union (actors, functioning, institutions, policies), especially with regard to social issues, employment and, ideally, the green policies. You have experience in working with multiple and various partners, within a project or a network. A good knowledge of social and solidarity economy and social entrepreneurship is an asset.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Contract: full-time – fixed-term contract under Belgian law, until 31/12/2024;

  • Starting date: 13 of March 2024;

  • Workplace: Brussels (principal place), with flexibility to work from home. You might be required to travel across Europe occasionally;

  • Gross Monthly salary: from 3.114 to 3.275 €/month based on the candidate’s experience;

  • A thirteenth month (proportionally to the period of the contract);

  • Advantages: reimbursement of travel expenses (public transport), reimbursement of teleworking costs, meal vouchers of 8€/day, mobile phone subscription, work laptop.
