We are currently seeking to recruit a full-time for our Innovation and Deployment Department Project Manager.

Specialised in ITS: Connected & Automated Driving/Sustainable Urban Mobility.

The Project Manager (PM) is the leader of a project team, responsible for all aspects of project management, including the delegation of designated tasks to the project team members within the I&D department as well as other ERTICO departments. He/she also contributes to the ERTICO strategy on Bringing Intelligence into Mobility and the overall promotion of ITS in Europe through participation in ERTICO activities and new developments.


  • Responsible for technical and administrative issues during project proposal development and for successful submission process and contributes in project proposal concept definition;

  • Identifies potential new Partners and contributes to the Partners acquisition process;

  • Contributes in proposal building process by writing and compiling technical, scientific, administrative and financial information provided by the Consortium, including description of work, activity planning and budget;

  • Ensures efficient organisation of activity coordination;

  • Acts as the official point of contact for the EC and for the project consortium members;

  • Manages and coordinates the technical project activities with the consortium members, including the EC Annual review, and plans and monitors project activities and ensures the deadlines are met;

  • Supervises project dissemination strategy and activities in collaboration with the Project Support Manager, the Project Communication officer and the Consortium Members including the development and implementation of work plans and the technical program for events, conferences, demonstrations and workshops.


  • First or higher university degree (Master or PhD or equivalent);

  • Knowledge in ITS related fields is an asset and especially in Connected & Automated Driving or Sustainable Urban Mobility;

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in EC project administration and technical coordination or equivalent;

  • Activity knowledge/expertise (technical and/or business) with overall understanding of administration, RTD and/or deployment aspects;

  • Excellent English written and oral skills& knowledge of one or more other languages is an asset;

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (PowerPoint – Word – Outlook –Excel) and Internet;

  • Excellent knowledge of Project Management Tools;

  • Facilitator skills during proposal building process and able to build consensus.
