Materialise Medical has pioneered many leading medical applications of 3D printing and is enabling researchers, engineers, and clinicians to revolutionize innovative personalized treatments that help improve and save lives. In the cranio-maxillofacial (CMF) field, Materialise develops and offers a comprehensive range of patient-specific surgical guides and implants to a growing and diversifying global customer base. To support our further growth, Materialise is looking for a Process Validation Engineer.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • From the start, you build up expertise on both the product and process level, working with advanced 3D printing, post-processing, and quality inspection technologies;

  • Maintain existing validation programs and identify, define, and complete new equipment, product, and process validations following Medical Quality Standards (ISO 13485, FDA QSR 820); translate this into an operational success by providing the right process documentation (work instructions), operator training, and support;

  • Work closely together with stakeholders from operational, development, product, and research teams, guaranteeing process validation principles are being considered during all phases of product and process development cycles;

  • Through involvement in a variety of activities and projects, we set up a growth trajectory in which you can shape your own future within Materialise.


YOUR PROFILE:

  • You have a master's degree in engineering or the equivalent through experience;

  • Experience with medical product or process validation is considered a strong plus;

  • The use of 3D printing sparks your curiosity; you have a strong interest in the medical devices industry;

  • You are quality-oriented and have an eye for detail, but you also don’t get stuck on this; you are good at troubleshooting and problem-solving;

  • You have a strong, versatile, and proactive work ethic, and you’re eager to learn;

  • You are fluent in English; a good level of Dutch is a plus.
