Date and Place: From January 2024 for a period of 6 months. Exact start and end dates to be agreed with the incoming intern.
The internship will take place at Sport and Citizenship European Affairs office in Brussels (Avenue des Arts 43, 1040 Etterbeek).
MISSIONS AND TASKS:
The intern will be based at the think tank's Brussels office and will also carry out the following tasks, among others:
Participate in the implementation of projects at European level and in advocacy activities
Participation in the development and management of the think tank's European affairs

The European Affairs team at Sport and Citizenship is a small team. The incoming intern who will join us must be autonomous and versatile.

Paid internship in accordance with the French legislation (4,05EUR/hour; 35 hour working week; 100% reimbursement of transport card).

MISSIONS AND TASKS:
The intern will be based at the think tank's Brussels office and will also carry out the following tasks, among others:
Participate in the implementation of projects at European level and in advocacy activities
- Involvement in the day-to-day management of the PACTE+ (developing activities cities), OSES (using water sports to raise awareness on the protection of the environment) and Planet Ball (using football to raise awareness on the protection of the environment) projects led by Sport and Citizenship (taking part in partners’ meetings online, drafting meetings’ minutes, monitoring the implementation of partners' activities, writing articles, participating in the organisation of conferences, communications tasks);
- Implication in partners projects according to the intern’s interests (more than 10 partnersprojects in progress);
- Involvement in the conceptualisation and submission of new European projects (deskresearch and syntheses on the themes of the submissions; taking part in meetings withfuture partners).
Participation in the development and management of the think tank's European affairs
- Writing and publication articles to support the advocacy strategy;
- Drafting briefs on public policy in sport.
PROFILE:
- Master’s student in political science, European affairs, or sports management.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
The European Affairs team at Sport and Citizenship is a small team. The incoming intern who will join us must be autonomous and versatile.
- A good command of French is essential. Colleagues in the office speak French together;
- Fluency in English. Essential to take part in European projects;
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environments;
- Proven capacities to work both in autonomy and as part of a team;
- Interest in sports-related subjects.
DESIRABLE:
- Knowledge of the European sport policy;
- Additional language(s);
- Previous experience in the sociosport sector.
