FEANTSA is recruiting a Partnership & Project Officer for 2 years for the Housing First Europe Hub to support the Hub’s partnership, coordination and communications. The Housing First Europe Hub is a partnership of over 40 organisations, housing providers, governments, cities, foundations and researchers working together to promote and facilitate Housing First as part of ongoing work to end
homelessness. This role is based in Brussels. Some travel will be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Partnership & Project Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Partnership management and engagement. Helping to strengthen the Housing First Europe Hub’s diverse partnership and support the production of concrete outputs.

  • This includes regular correspondence, arranging meetings/events/conferences - both online and in person, attendance of events and activities;

  • Communications (social media, web content, etc.) - regular correspondence with a wide network of partners and external stakeholders;

  • Coordination of training opportunities and regular support for a network of Housing First trainers.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

The ideal candidate will have completed a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Social Policy, Political Science, International Relations, European Studies, Communications, or a related field. We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Enthusiasm for working with a diverse set of partners across Europe;

  • The ability to build connections and relationships with people from different sector and, backgrounds - both in person and online;

  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision;

  • Motivation, strong organisational skills, and ability to be self-starting;

  • Proficiency at Microsoft Office and social media platforms;

  • An interest in ending homelessness;

  • The ability to commit full-time – up to 38 hours per week;

  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Other languages are an asset.

  • Availability to travel for events and meetings several times a year;

  • Able to work legally in Belgium.


This is a full-time position for 2 years, based in Brussels. We offer a competitive salary with a package of benefits including reimbursement for local public transportation, and meal vouchers.
