CISPE (Cloud Infrastructure Service Providers in Europe) is a leading Brussels-based association representing top cloud infrastructure providers. It champions the European cloud ecosystem through practical tools, compliance frameworks, and advocacy. As a founding member of GAIA-X and co-initiator of the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact, CISPE plays a pivotal role in Europe’s digital transformation, addressing issues like cybersecurity, competition, data protection, and sustainability.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Operations Director will manage governance functions, enhance member engagement, and support CISPE’s policy initiatives within the EU. This role connects members, facilitates communication, and fosters collaboration between CISPE and EU institutions, advancing its strategic goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Association Management;


• Member Engagement and Governance;


• Policy Outreach and Projects Management.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Legal background preferred, with ability to interpret complex legal documents;


• 4-5 years of relevant experience (e.g., law firms, industry associations, EU institutions);


• Knowledge of EU policy processes and digital/tech policy;


• Exceptional communication skills, fluent in English; additional EU languages (e.g., Italian, French, or German) are a strong asset;


• Strong project management and collaborative skills; self-starter with attention to detail and adaptability.
