JOB DESCRIPTION:

EIT Food is part of a larger network of Knowledge and Innovation Communities addressing societal challenges such as Climate Change (EIT Climate-KIC), Health (EIT Health) and Digitalisation (EIT Digital). Some of the projects of EIT Food are a collaboration between these different communities, called Cross-KIC/EIT Community initiatives (see https://eit.europa.eu/community-activities). EIT Food is part of 7 clusters with these crossover topics such as Education, Regional Outreach and Shared Services. EIT Food is also coordinator of the cluster Strategic Synergies with Work Packages around AI, New European Bauhaus and Supernova’s.  

As Junior Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the administrative processes and data management of all EIT Community clusters/initiatives. This includes the data collection of KPI’s, Deliverables and other Key Indicators from all KIC’s, the coordination and collection of all financial data across all EIT Community Initiatives, and the translation of this data in fact sheets and presentations. In addition you will be responsible for the reporting and management of the grants of these clusters.  

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

You will manage the reporting and data administration for the Cross-KIC clusters:

Responsibilities are: 

  • Reporting and management of the grant: Manage the submission and reporting of the BP of the Cross-KIC clusters, especially for the cluster Strategic Synergies (including deliverables, budget and KPI’s) on supporting EIT Food tools (plaza, SalesForce, Netsuite etc.);

  • Coordination and monitor of the activities in the Cross-KIC clusters: Regular meetings and communications with WP leaders, successful collection of content and data, and creation and implementation of a monitoring system;

  • Coordinate and lead joint activities to ensure visibility of the EIT Community activities: Implement activities in the Synergies Catalyzer (impact, data, startups, financial sustainability);

  • Liaise with Director EIT Community to report progress of the actions: Regular meetings and communication with EIT Food representatives, promote CSS/EIT Community in EIT Food;

  • Ensure collaboration of the EIT Community clusters and other relevant stakeholders: Identifying and promoting synergies among KICs and within EIT Food and take initiative in joint activities/monitoring/legal docs etc;

  • Ensure continuity of the Cross-KIC clusters in 2026 and beyond: Successful preparation and submission of amendments and (new) BP. 


EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • You hold a Master degree related to Business Administration, International Management, or Governance and Public Policy OR another master degree associated with these areas OR equivalent by experience;

  • You have experience in leading international projects that use a systemic innovation approach and involve multiple stakeholders from different type of organisations;

  • You speak and write fluent English with a good knowledge of French, Dutch or any other European language;

  • Experience in EU-funded project management (H2020 or similar) is an asset.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Contract type: Full-time permanent position;

  • Location & Travel Frequency: You will be based at the EIT Food HQ in Leuven, Belgium. Occasional travel within Europe can be expected. Please note that all applicants must be legally authorized to reside and work in Belgium.
