OUR MISSION:
- The mission of the IT Manager Leader is to develop and support the teams, helps them grow and lead them to achieve performance objectives. A Manager manages the strategy and the global approach;
- The IT Manager Leader is responsible for the application of management decisions and strategy. She/He understands and implements CANDRIAM’s strategy, describes the objectives of the strategy in her/his teams, ensures teams implement these goals;
- The IT Manager Leader is alongside these teams to ensure that the workload is distributed fairly, that the teams have visibility on the tasks to be handled. She/He guarantees compliance with CANDRIAM policies and procedures;
- The IT Manager Leader is able to identify difficulties and help the members of these teams to work in optimal conditions. She/He manages his team's delivery is able to report alerts to management at the right time;
- The IT Manager Leader puts all the means at her/his disposal to properly serve internal and external customers, customer service is a key objective of her/his mission, She/He is in charge of creating great proximity between his team and the business. To improve the image of the IT and above all the confidence of business in IT;
- The IT Manager Leader is an operational manager, He/she may be required to play different roles in projects deployment of agility.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Management
- Manage an autonomous and agile team (12 people: internal and external);
- Ensure continuity of service and continuous improvement of products;
- Manage resources, capacities, budget and planning while respecting the IT processes in place.
Delivery Management
- Manage the roadmap in collaboration with the business teams and the CDO (Chief Data Officer);
- Manage the delivery and ensure commitment towards IT and Business teams;
- Manage level 3 support and collaborate with the production services department to ensure business support and satisfaction. Be proactive in improving service and participate actively in resolving incidents;
- Avoid technical debt and propose remediation plans consistent with the business roadmap;
- Clearly report on the activity of the team and produce KPIs to measure continuous improvement.
IT Relation Management
- Work in collaboration with teams and/or domains managers: coordination of development, testing campaigns and global IT roadmap synchronization;
- Work closely with production services and architecture teams;
- Participate in IT transformation in coordination with the Agile Competence Center.
PROFILE:
Experience required
- Team Management;
- Minimum of 10 years 'experience in data projects;
- Experience in implementation of modern BI and Central DataLake/Data Platform projects;
- Experience in delivery using agile methodology specially Scrum Master;
- Experience in managing a team of 10 members or more: internal and external;
- Good functional knowledge of Asset Management/Financial field;
- Good knowledge of Data Quality and Data Governance topics;
- Good knowledge of concepts and uses of Data Cataloging and Data Lineage;
- Good Knowledge of Azure cloud platform (DataLake, Analysis Services, Synapse, Fabric, Data Factory…);
- Good Knowledge of the technical principles of Data Visualization solutions, in particular Power BI.
