Are you a business analyst who strives for delivering true customer value by bridging the gap between business and implementation teams? Do you thrive in an autonomous multi-functional team that cultivates innovation and creativity?

We are looking for an expert business analyst who excels in translating business needs and requirements into functionalities and specifications to join our On-Premises tribe at Swift, the tribe responsible for developing enterprise applications enabling businesses globally to connect to financial networks.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • You will define, analyse, validate and maintain functional requirements by working constructively in close liaison with team members, and in line with evolving business requirements;

  • You will validate proposed solutions to technical and/or business problems in relation to current and future business environment, reconciling business requirements with technical solutions;

  • You will create clear and concise documentation, including user stories, process flows, and technical specifications;

  • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of requirements throughout the project lifecycle;

  • You will provide technical or relevant business knowledge during all phases of the development and resolve complex business problems, recognising technical constraints;

  • You will challenge the status quo, and think out of the box for alternative/most efficient solutions.

Soft skills

  • Autonomous in organizing and driving efforts and delivering results, empowered with the ability to adapt and respond to change;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;

  • Attention to detail in documenting and validating requirements.


Hard skills

  • Deep technical analysis skills, translating business needs into functional requirements with technical orientation/scope;

  • Proficiency in data modelling tools and techniques (e.g., UML, BPMN);

  • Knowledge of change-driven methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking), collaborative tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) will be an advantage;

  • Technical – Java expertise (being able to read the code) Knowledge of XML;

  • Knowledge of MQ/JMS and REST APIs;

  • Knowledge of IT security (encryption, digital signatures, PKI, TLS, …);

  • Prior experience with the SwiftNet messaging services (in particular InterAct, FileAct and FIN), will be an advantage;

  • Experience with Swift’s products and services and/or experience in relevant payments/fintech industry will be an advantage (ISO20022);

  • Knowledge of Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH) - related technologies & use cases will be an advantage;

  • Knowledge of XML will be an advantage;

  • Proficient in English (spoken and written).


Education

  • University degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.


Experience

  • Minimum 4-5 years in a similar capacity, ideally in a software development environment;

  • Knowledge/Experience in Agile processes will be an advantage.
