EUK Consulting is looking for a motivated junior professional to join its Brussels public affairs consultancy for a 6-month paid internship.
EUK Consulting provides public affairs, lobbying, and issues management services for clients in highly regulated sectors. The successful candidate will work closely with EUK’s Research Manager (the line manager) and with the company’s directors and consultants to:

- Monitor legislative activities and media trends;
- Write concise notes for internal and external use;
- Provide reports to clients in a timely manner;
- Analyse political developments;
- Attend and report on events.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE INTERNSHIP BRINGS:
- A good level of education in relevant fields – e.g. EU Affairs, International Relations, law, political science, etc;
- First experience working with or in the EU institutions, national governments, consultancies, associations/federations (desirable but not mandatory);
- Full professional proficiency in English, with working knowledge of another EU official language; French is seen as an asset;
- Interest in and knowledge of the inner workings of the EU;
- A flair for drafting analyses and background research.
