ENTSO-E represents 39 electricity transmission system operators in 35 European countries. The work of the association is coordinated by a Secretariat based in Brussels. To support its ICT activities, ENTSO-E Secretariat is offering an internship in our ICT team.


You will be offered the opportunity to:

A monthly amount up to €700 is foreseen as reimbursement for commuting and living costs.


With the supervision of a manager:

  • Provide technical support for ENTSO-E internal users;

  • Resolve 1st Line technical issues over Zendesk ticketing, via live chat, or on-site in a friendly and professional manner;

  • Escalade to Level 2 or Level 3 experts if necessary and make the follow up with the customer;

  • Maintain and develop your own knowledge and skills to assist with first time fault resolution;

  • Identify and escalate repeated issues or service risks into service management teams;

  • Help with IT onboarding and outboarding process when required;

  • Follow asset management process and update inventory when needed.


  • Be a current full-time student (IT field);

  • Be available on a full-time basis for a minimum of 6 months, ideally 1 year;

  • Be eligible to travel and stay in Belgium for the duration of the internship;

  • Set up an internship agreement between the university and ENTSO-E;

  • Provide proof of health insurance coverage by university;

  • Be a fluent communicator in English;

  • PowerPoint knowledge is desirable;

  • Enjoy collaborating in an international environment;

  • Reactive and well organised. We are looking for someone who has a problem-solving approach with ICT diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills;

  • Nice to have, not mandatory:

    1. Basic knowledge of hardware: notebooks, and peripherals;

    2. Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 Cloud solution – Active Directory - Azure and MS Exchange, Windows 10/11 OS as well as iOS and Android;

    3. Basic knowledge in PowerShell command and networking (Wi-Fi, LAN).
