YOUR NEW ROLE:
As a buyer, you will manage subcontracting and procurement activities across Belgium and Luxembourg. You will ensure all subcontracting needs are met, complying with company policies, safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines. As a buyer, you will manage subcontracting and procurement activities across Belgium and Luxembourg. You will ensure all subcontracting needs are met, complying with company policies, safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines. You’ll handle requests from internal stakeholders, manage subcontractor relationships, and monitor project costs, quality, and timelines. You’ll report to the Head of Subcontracting Purchasing.
KEY RERSPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage subcontracting purchasing for projects in the Belux region, ensuring compliance with company policies;
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Project Managers, Team Leaders) to address subcontracting needs;
- Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure high service standards;
- Monitor project costs, quality, and timelines;
- Work with other buyers and category managers to support procurement strategies.
YOUR PROFILE:
- You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5), ideally in procurement or a related field;
- You have solid experience in procurement or purchasing within the construction or related industries;
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills are essential, along with a service-oriented approach;
- You are autonomous, detail-oriented, and responsive to business needs, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively;
- Your ability to work well in a team and build long-term, positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders is critical to your success;
- Fluency in French and English is required.
