THE OPPORTUNITY:
ADB Safegate’s ILCMS product allows airport to enhance field operations by providing high level systems to control and monitor airfield lighting.
The ILCMS Engineer will participate to the configuration and deployment of these systems and will support the project engineers during specification, design, realization, factory test, on site start-up and follow-up systems used for Individual Lamp Control and Monitoring.

The ILCMS Engineer will participate to the configuration and deployment of these systems and will support the project engineers during specification, design, realization, factory test, on site start-up and follow-up systems used for Individual Lamp Control and Monitoring.
YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT BY:
- Participate in, and sometimes lead system definition, design, and realizations;
- Prepare configuration information for factory validation and acceptance in support of the project/system engineers;
- Perform onsite configuration of the individual lamp control and monitoring system ensuring its best performance given the typical local conditions;
- Perform onsite configuration of the individual lamp control and monitoring system ensuring its best performance given the typical local conditions;
- Support and perform system validation including factory and on-site tests of the system;
- Perform customer and internal trainings about ILCMS functionality, serviceability, configuration, and onsite commissioning;
- Generate and maintain the accompanying documentation such as configuration and intervention reports;
- Monitor and support service engineers during site activities, warranty interventions and maintenance contracts;
- Ensure version control and configuration management of the several application programs and tools used for individual lamp control and monitoring systems.
THE TALENT WE WANT TO INSPIRE HAS:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronics or a similar field;
- Ability to design and build a network, with extensive troubleshooting experience;
- 1-3 years experience in electrical work, testing or other quality activities;
- Knowledge in powerline communication over powerline is desirable;
- Excellent command in written and spoken English;
- Fluent in Dutch or French is desirable.
IT SKILLS:
- Competent in configuration of Windows OS and basic network equipment;
- Competent in use of MS Office, Visio, AutoCAD;
- Basic experience in Software development, e.g., worked with C#, C++, Java Scripts and/or Web programming.
