If you’re an experienced HR Specialist looking for variety and challenge in equal measure, this is the role for you. As UPS is a 24-hours-a-day operation, a flexible approach is also a must.


HR Specialist for operational and administrative departments (both blue and white collar workers)

  • First point of contact for employees for all HR matters such as career interruption, educational leave, training, payroll questions, career development, etc;

  • Provide advice and support to management on all HR matters: especially improving quality of evaluations and training + other topics such as compensation and benefits;

  • Collaborate with line management on increasing employee engagement and reducing absenteeism.

Talent Management

  • Internal and external recruitment and selection: attract candidates by advertising, participate in job fairs, connect with schools and universities, etc. Screen CV’s , invite potential candidates and conduct interviews and assessments;

  • Review job descriptions, map competency profiles, and roll-out a new talent management process;

  • Provide training to employees (e.g. on-boarding of new employees) and line management.

HR Administration

  • Prepare official HR documents such as: contracts and disciplinary correspondence;

  • Report HR related data.


  • Bachelor Degree in HR related field;

  • Experience in a recruitment/HR role;

  • Excellent communication, admin, planning, organizational and prioritizing skills;

  • A flexible, friendly, professional and confident attitude;

  • Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced and targeted environment;

  • Language skills in Dutch, French and English;

  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel;

  • High level of self-motivation;

  • Experience with the systems of SD Worx and/or Workday is an asset;

  • Drivers license.
