We are looking for a Head of Global Site and Facilities who is strategic, collaborative, and innovative, to join our Engineering, Sites and Facilities team based in our campus in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Head of Global Site and Facilities, you will set the right level of ambition for all UCB facilities (HQ, Manufacturing, Campus, Research, Affiliates) to accelerate our Patient Value Strategy journey. You will enhance talent attractivity, branding, wellbeing, connectivity, and sustainability. Your role will have a global geographical scope and involve regulatory responsibilities.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH:
You will collaborate with a dynamic team within the Global Site & Facilities department. Together, you will work closely with Facility Managers from different locations worldwide (UK, CH, US, BE) and leaders in Facility roles at affiliate levels. You will also develop and lead a Global Facilities Network, sharing best practices, reinforcing contract management, cost control and performance monitoring.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Define and deploy Facility Management strategy across UCB footprint;
- Benchmark facilities trends and set best practices;
- Manage Facility Managers from different locations worldwide;
- Liaise with leaders in Facility roles at affiliate levels;
- Develop and lead a Global Facilities Network;
- Reinforce contract management, cost control, and performance reporting;
- Analyze existing footprint and provide local optimization options;
- Support the Global Real Estate Strategy defined by Asset Management;
- Provide HSE Leadership and implement Green Initiatives.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree and over 10 years of experience in Facility Management;
- Strong experience in environments where facility management is core to the business;
- Demonstrated experience in significant large Facility Management transformations and strong knowledge of Facility Management processes;
- Ability to manage complexity, work in highly dynamic and international environments, handle challenging situations, be customer-oriented, and understand and respect cultural differences;
- High communication skills (leadership, negotiation, change management, facilitation) and ability to manage and impact in direct or matrix management.
