As a Fund Administration Process Expert, your mission is to increase the effectivity and efficiency of our operations. Your role is a strategic role that should understand, manage and improve the processes related to the fund administration.

As our Fund Administration Process Expert, you have also final responsibility over the NAVs (Net Asset Value) of our funds, the bookkeeping processes and the adequate calculation of NAT prices. You will join an international team. The majority of your colleagues work in Brussels—and remotely part of the time—while you also work closely with the operational team in Brno (Czech Republic) that executes all transactions.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• You’re in contact with external auditors and regulators for NAV calculations, annual reporting and tax declarations;


• Together with your team, you think about how to make our processes better. You take ownership of proposals for improvement;


• You set up control mechanisms to monitor and ensure NAV calculations are being made correctly and that the figures we publish are correct (NAV, TIS, DBI, etc.);


• Less experienced bookkeepers in your team can count on you for guidance and coaching;


• At the moment, we are making the switch to a new system: the portfolio management system SimCorp Dimension. It’s a great opportunity to join this migration project. You will bepart of the team that supports this migration.

YOUR KEY STRENGTHS:

• You have a master’s degree and at least seven years of experience with the bookkeeping of funds that are based in Belgium, Luxembourg or Ireland. You were involved with the daily calculation of NAV figures and built up your knowledge of regulatory requirements;


• Experience with process mapping or process improvement, either as a lead or participant;


• Strong process-orientation including ability to define & analyse business process, well structured, good analytical and conceptual thinking;


• Your experience and insights help you evaluate operational risks and propose structural improvements;


• You enjoy working with others, pursuing-and achieving-goals as a team;


• As a mature professional, you find it easy to organise your own work based on various timing demands and deadlines;


• You’re happy to improve your knowledge of SimCorp Dimension. Are you already familiar with it? Great! If not, we provide training to ensure you’ll be ready to work with it independently;


• You communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
