• Location: Brussels;


• Remote policy: Hybrid remote/work policy: 3 days at the Office (including Tuesday/Thursday considered as mandatory days), 2 days of remote work possible.

[Please note you will need to be based in Belgium and to have a European valid visa/work permit to be eligible for the role]

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You are responsible for coding, testing, and implementing pixel perfect User Interfaces designed by your fellow Visual Designers;


• You are involved in the definition of our Design System and U.I. patterns and will have to translate them into reusable components with a keen eye for details;


• You monitor the components architecture, define guidelines and share your knowledge with our Software Engineers;


• You collaborate closely with Product owners and Software developers to deliver features that fit requirements and meet our customer’s needs;


• You are concerned with all the technical aspects of your job, with a strong focus on usability, accessibility and consistency.

YOUR TASKS:

• Translate graphical designs into code using HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript/Typescript;


• Create accessible and reusable components using ReactJs and StoryBook;


• Monitor U.I. consistency and improve legacy code;


• Participate in code review, pairing, and other forms of knowledge sharing.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduated from a Bachelors in Computer science, Engineering, Design, other similar studies or the equivalent in experience (1-2 years);


• You are fluent in English;


• Eager to learn about modern Web technologies;


• Strong entrepreneurial mindset: you’re hands-on and autonomous. You find creative solutions to problems in a fast-moving environment;


• Team player: you enjoy working with others. You have a proactive attitude and you like to make things move forward.

Nice-to-have

• Sensitivity to design in general and user experience in Web development using modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue);


• GitHub profile or example of work.
