YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Accounting & Reporting specialist/expert, you are fully responsible for the timely delivery and the analysis of reports in your scope.

As main responsibilities you

  • Prepare prudential reports, with analytical review and validation;

  • Perform complex analyses;

  • Prepare responses to ad-hoc requests from stakeholders (e.g. ECB, management, external auditor);

  • Review and coordinates the report preparation by others and are responsible for coaching of less experienced staff;

  • Work closely together with various departments within the processing chain (Front Office, Back Office/Operations, Finance, Risk Management);

  • Participate actively in strategic, tactical and ad-hoc change projects to set clear requirements on data definitions and implement these together with the Finance & Reporting Tribe and where needed challenge the status quo;

  • Monitor compliance with regulation.

As Accounting & Reporting specialist/expert, you will also need the following qualifications and competences

  • Required level of education: master;

  • Level of years relevant experience: 3 - 5;

  • Level of knowledge BE GAAP/IFRS: moderate;

  • English: advanced;

  • Level of knowledge Cognos/SAP-Business objects: preferred;

  • Communication skills: able to communicate clearly with senior internal & external stakeholders;

  • Problem analysis & judgment: place problems in a broader perspective;

  • Control mindset;

  • Curious mindset;

  • Good sense of humor.
