DESCRIPTION:

As a Business Controller in FP&A (Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis), you will support Telenet's executive leadership team in decision-making by delivering integrated performance analysis and management reporting. You'll also contribute to quarterly reporting for LG (Liberty Global) and assist with external financial reporting and investor relations processes. Broad understanding of key business performance drivers across various business units, ability to translate and summarize large amounts of financial information into powerful key messages or presentations and attention to detail are key to this role.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report to the Manager of Corporate Financial Planning, Analysis & Control;

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports (IFRS and US GAAP) for internal management, LG management, and Investor Relations;

  • Contribute to process improvements and automation projects to enhance reporting quality and efficiency;

  • Manage stakeholders across Consolidation, Technical Reporting, Investor Relations, and Business Controlling teams;

  • Write monthly and quarterly management reports (financials, operations, labor);

  • Create concise, insightful presentations for senior management;

  • Participate in ad-hoc projects;

  • Mentor junior team members.


PROFILE & KEY QUALITIES:

  • Master's Degree in Business, Economics, or equivalent;

  • 5+ years of experience in Management Reporting and independent analysis;

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills;

  • Advanced skills with enterprise performance reporting tools and Microsoft Office (powerpoint and excel);

  • Fluency in English (French or Dutch is a plus);

  • Ability to see the bigger picture, while still having attention to detail;

  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills;

  • Continuous drive for process standardization and improvement;

  • High focus on accuracy, consistency, and quality;

  • Knowledge of media and telecommunications (preferred).
