WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Oversight over financial closing and Reporting of the Cytiva Belgium entities (US GAAP & Statutory);

  • Main point person for internal, financial and tax auditors;

  • Responsible for local financial controllership activities and controls (e.g. Manual Journal Review, Account reconciliations, Balance sheet reviews, Physical inventory observation);

  • Provision of data for Tax team to ensure accurate and timely CIT & VAT filings;

  • Update, communication, monitoring and administering of relevant policies and procedures;

  • Support implementation of new processes and systems;

  • Prepare financial analyses and respond on ad hoc queries and provide local technical accounting support on matters impacting the legal entities.


WHO YOU ARE:

  • Accounting degree and at least 5 year experience in Financial Reporting and Controlling;

  • Strong analytical skills;

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP;

  • Demonstrated expertise in MS Office and ERP financial software (Onestream, Oracle/ SAP);

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents;

  • Ability to effectively communicate with management, public groups, peers and staff;

  • Demonstrated strong and pragmatic business acumen.
