To accommodate our growth, we are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Financial Analyst, based at our EMEA HQ in Mechelen.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Under the guidance of the FP&A Manager you will work as part of the finance team. The scope will be dedicated to NME, approx. turnover Mio EUR 400 & 20+ legal entities. NME currently has 5 business models: sales and distribution, 1 operational holding company, 3 manufacturing entities , 1 technical service provider and Renal Care provider clinics.
As a Financial Analyst at our EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) headquarters, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall financial health and success of the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather input, analyze trends, and provide meaningful insights;
- SAC planning ambassador and key user towards related stakeholders (training, technical assistance);
- Oversee the integrity and accuracy of financial master data, ensuring consistency and compliance by teaming up with the master data owners to maintain master data relevant to planning;
- Ability to understand business complexity and develop financial storytelling in a meaningful manner to the various levels of stakeholders;
- Analyze financial and sales data and provide meaningful variance analysis to key stakeholders supporting business decisions and actions;
- Monitor and report on financial KPIs, highlighting trends and areas for improvement;
- Support development of new reports and ensure correctness and maintenance of existing reporting library;
- Monitor and understand customer & product P/L for NME;
- master this landscape & take ownership on Product Group Category Code reporting towards Japan;
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and communicate in a clear and effective manner the insights to relevant stakeholders;
- Conduct thorough checks and calculations either as inputs to accounting and controlling or to validate the integrity of financial statements during or after the closing period.
- SAC reporting ambassador and key user towards related stakeholders (training, technical assistance);
- Active role in supporting business related projects from a finance planning and analysis perspective. E.g. profitability and cost analysis, system optimization and implementation, new product launch, post-acquisition & integration support;
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial planning processes and support the implementation of improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- A degree in economy, business management, accounting, finance or similar;
- Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc analysis;
- Ability to partner with the business and translate the figures into recommendations;
- Experience in international environment;
- Very good command of English. Any other language is a plus;
