- Support our clients in the transformation of their Finance department and the optimization of their activities and processes / operating model;
- Develop the case-for-change, including a business case, that covers people, process, technology, and data for enterprise transformation;
- Design and implement target operating models and finance operations (incl. accounting, controlling);
- Foster digitization, leveraging e.g. SAP S/4HANA;
- Optimize Controlling & Steering - Conception of management reporting based on current analytics solutions, design of global controlling/forecasting concepts for our internationally operating clients;
- Evaluate relevance of new technologies (e.g. around AI) and their impact on accounting and finance departments;
- Optimize E2E processes (P2P, R2R, O2C …), leveraging best practices in process modelling/optimization/automation/mining;
- Provide active support to cross-functional project teams, act as the interface between strategy, Business and IT;
- Continuously develop Consulting Skills: Communication, analytics, project management; working effectively in a team with other consultants from various backgrounds; learning and implementing the Capgemini Invent procedures and values;
- Contribute to the performance of Capgemini Invent: As you develop your expertise, you’ll be encouraged to support business development activities, create engaging content, share your knowledge and steer others.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications and Education
- Understanding of core Finance processes, experience in Finance, Controlling;
- 3-5 years of experience in operational excellence, ranging from the modelling and optimization of finance processes to finance operating model design and implementation;
- ERP experience - ideally with exposure to core SAP S/4HANA modules (FI CO MM…);
- EPM & Data platform experience;
- Affinity with organizational change management and adoption;
- Eventual exposure to outsourcing & shared services;
- A Master Degree in business engineering, applied economics, finance or similar.
Preferred Skills/Profiles/experiences
- You have a thorough understanding of Finance processes;
- You have affinity with IT, incl. ERP (ideally SAP);
- You are comfortable analyzing problems and proposing solutions;
- You are an engaging storyteller with excellent written & oral communication skills;
- You are a proactive, team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to deliver high quality results;
- You are fluent in English and at least French or Dutch
