As Finance Expert within the Center of Excellence, you’re in charge of the daily tasks of the team. You take ownership and make sure that all the deadlines are met and SLA’s respected. You will be in contact with the local finance teams regarding Finance Center of Expertise activities and assist them with regards to their needs and requests.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will participate in all the activities assigned to the Finance Center of Expertise, such as CAPEX, accruals, Master Data and provisions;


• You will make sure the closing deadlines are respected for the activities assigned to the Center of Expertise;


• You will participate in the reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts;


• You will prepare any reports or analysis requested by the local finance teams and make sure they’re delivered in due time;


• You will continuously look for efficiencies, improvements and automation of the accounting processes;


• You will participate in improvement change projects and provide assistance in your area of expertise to the local finance teams.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• You own a Master's degree in accounting (or related field) with relevant experience in general ledger accounting and/or controlling;


• You have a proactive, supportive and a positive attitude;


• You are familiar with the financial closing process and have good knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, VAT and income tax;


• Good experience in SAP FI is a plus;


• You understand finance & accounting processes with a focus on continuous improvements;


• Taking initiative and being able to bring new ideas, tools and technology to the table are key;


• You have an analytical and critical mind, are a problem solver and have good sense of curiosity;


• You have good communication skills, and are fluent in English. Good knowledge of French is a plus.
