For our Brussels-based Headquarters, we are currently looking for an: Event Assistant

TASKS:

  • Assisting with organization of EPP events and meetings (logistical support during preparations, registration, on-the-spot assistance);

  • Management of in-house meetings and meeting facilities;

  • Assisting with travel and hotel arrangements for participants and EPP staff;

  • Office supplies monitoring;

  • Gadget/merchandise monitoring, inventory, and preparation for shipping;

  • Assisting with database management and updating.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in English, knowledge of French and/or Spanish is considered an asset;

  • Detail-oriented, well organized, problem solver, good communication skills, flexible;

  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team;

  • Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure;

  • Proficiency in MS Office.


CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Working contract is under Belgian Law;

  • EPP pays a competitive salary according to Belgian legislation and Social Security;

  • Additional benefits will be provided in the salary package;

  • Starting date: as soon as possible;

  • Contract duration: a 1-year fixed term contract, with a possible conversion to open ended contract pending good performance.
