The ESC is currently looking for a EU Project Officer for an undetermined contract, CDI, as from September 2024 to work at in our offices in Brussels, Belgium.
As part of the EU Project team of 4 experts, your main mission is to support in the implementation, planning and development of EU funded projects in order to achieve the mission of the Department, to support in the realisation of all activities planned within a specific project and report to the EU Projects Team Manager on the latest developments. Ensure that all tasks are delivered timely as requested by the Project Managers and to support the EU Project Managers in the day-to-day implementation of EU funded projects in order to meet the objectives of the work packaged led by ESC:

- Implement communication tasks and events managements tasks assigned to a specific work package;
- Supporting the EU Project Managers with the daily implementation; in order to meet the project objectives and EU requirements;
- Assist with preparation of project proposals in order to facilitate the submission process.
PROFILE:
Hard skills
- Master degree in EU Studies, EU Project management, Communication science;
- 3 years experiences in EU project management;
- Experience in EU project management of H2020/Horizon Europe funded projects;
- Knowleldge of H2020 and Horizon Europe procedures;
- Excellent communication skills and experience in managing social media, newsletter and websites;
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office required, website, online conferencing tools).
Soft skills
- Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills;
- Manage competing priorities and meet deadlines;
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, able to develop relationships and maintain effective networks;
- High attention to detail;
- Be a dynamic pro-active team-player;
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
CONTRACT DETAILS:
- Position based in Brussels - Permanent contract;
- Belgian labor law provisions.
CONDITIONS:
- Fixed salary + 13,92th month;
- Full time, 40h/week;
- 20 annual leaves + 12 extra days off / year;
- Lunch vouchers card;
- Possibility of teleworking up to 3 days a week, after two months' integration at ESC + fixed daily allowance;
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
