As Engineering Logistic Support Specialist, you are member of the Engineering Logistic Support team (E.L.S.). In this role, you maintain an overview of the internal organisational processes and systems (Product Lifecycle Management/PLM) and are in close contact with the various departments (such as production, purchasing, engineering) within ScioTeq. You have a good insight into the composition and structure of the parts lists of the various products, how they are produced and the corresponding administrative follow-up in an innovative high-tech environment.

As Engineering Logistic Support Specialist, you are member of the Engineering Logistic Support team (E.L.S.). In this role, you maintain an overview of the internal organisational processes and systems (Product Lifecycle Management/PLM) and are in close contact with the various departments (such as production, purchasing, engineering) within ScioTeq. You have a good insight into the composition and structure of the parts lists of the various products, how they are produced and the corresponding administrative follow-up in an innovative high-tech environment.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Your challenge starts with checking the first article inspection/FAI and completing the flow for new prototypes;
- In addition, you draw the connecting cables with input assembly drawings from the engineering department;
- You also do the release of ECPs (Engineering Change Proposals) for cables and mechanical parts;
- You then prepare data lists of cables, mechanical parts and PCB's as a basis for purchase order. In addition, you draft RFP's (request for purchase) with insight on the type of material, for the purchasing department;
- You are responsible for following up the request for purchase from development to delivery and you keep good track of delivery deadlines (on-time performance / OTP) for the engineering team;
- Finally, you process EMQ issues (material request or stock return) and update bills of materials (Bill of Material /BOM). You also keep changes to technical drawings of cables and mechanical parts up-to-date in our ERP system;
- Moreover, in the same team, you will also support your colleague Product Environmental Compliance Engineer in the product registration process.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree;
- You have strong administrative skills and are fluent with the various MS Office applications. Knowledge of BAAN or a similar ERP package is an additional asset;
- You are fascinated by a technical environment and are willing to polish up your technical skills;
- You are a team player and function also smoothly autonomously;
- You have strong organisational skills and an eye for detail;
- You have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
