Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking (CAJU) is the European Union’s leading research and innovation programme for transforming aviation towards a sustainable and climate neutral future.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Do you believe sustainability communications are an important factor to raise awareness to climateneutrality? Are you keen to help us building a digital strategy? Do you have excellent command of written and spoken English and want to contribute to crafting impactful key-messages?

We are looking for an energetic team player to join the Communications team on a full-time interim 6-month paid contract with possibility of renewal. The successful candidate would lead our social media activities notably in preparation of the Clean Aviation Annual Forum (March 2024), the Transport and Research Arena in Dublin (April 2024) and ILA Berlin (June 2024).

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

  • Relevant academic qualifications: Masters degree or Undergraduate degree with additional years of related work experience ideally within the fields of mobility, energy or research and innovation;

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English;

  • That they are a highly organised, motivated team player who can learn fast, take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment;

  • Proven experience in digital communications and social media management notably X/Twitter and LinkedIn. The candidate will be required to take ownership of the social media publication schedule and dissemination plans for the above-mentioned events. In addition to monitoring, content creation, scheduling, posting, and analytics evaluation;

  • Experience in managing paid ads for LinkedIn and Twitter would be an asset;

  • Experience in coordinate with external agencies would be an asset;

  • Experience in events communication would be an asset.


Please note that experience with design tools (Adobe suite, InDesign etc) is not essential for this role.

This is a full-time position based in Brussels. The candidate must have the right to work full-time in Belgium and should be able to be physically present at the office between 3-5 days/week.
