DESCRIPTION:

We currently have a vacancy for a Digital Forensics Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

MAIN TASKS:

  • Conduct computer forensics investigations on targeted cyberattacks and other security-related incidents involving leaks of sensitive non-classified or classified information;

  • Conduct malware analysis and behavioral analysis to produce cyber threat intelligence;

  • Research and development of new solutions to perform better response to ever-developing cyber attack risks;

  • Regular participation in the main IT Security events in the field;

  • Involvement in internal research workgroups to develop Information Security policies.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in IT;

  • Experience in in digital forensics;

  • Experience with programming languages: Bash/Shell Scripting, Python;

  • Experience in penetration testing;

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems;

  • Good knowledge of security technologies like: Antivirus, Firewalls, IDS, network analysers (e.g., Wireshark);

  • Good knowledge of Disassemblers, Debuggers, malware reverse-engineering, assembly language and malware analysis tools, e.g., IDA, OllyDbg, Cuckoo Sandbox, etc;

  • Good knowledge of user documentation for information systems in the domain of IT security;

  • Knowledge of the installation and configuration of security industry-standard solutions such as e.g., MISP, OpenCTI and theHIVE;

  • Knowledge of offensive security techniques and procedures;

  • Knowledge of computer forensics tools, e.g. EnCase, Access Data, and FTK;

  • Knowledge of the maintenance of the "forensic chain";

  • Experience with programming languages, like Java, C/C++ would be an asset;

  • The following certifications would be considered as assets: SANS, EC-Council CEH and Offsec;

  • Excellent command of the English language and good command of French.
