As a DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for the deployment, configuration, implementation and maintenance of our software products and components. DevOps engineers also work to uphold the safety and internal regulations of the work environment. You collaborate with R&D, project managers, quality control specialists and our clients to create the best processes and outcomes possible.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer projects (50%)

  • Technical Setup: Configuring and setting up technical environments for new and existing customers;

  • Software Deployment: Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics tailored to customer needs; 

  • System Maintenance: Maintaining, optimizing, and upgrading existing systems to ensure reliability; 

  • Troubleshooting: Analyzing and resolving technical issues in both new and ongoing customer projects;

  • Documentation: Preparing and managing project documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ) for current and future implementations; 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborating closely with support engineers, developers, UX designers, business analysts, and systems analysts; 

  • Automation: Automating and improving customer deployments to increase efficiency; 

  • Continuous Deployment: Implementing continuous deployment practices for faster and more reliable software rollouts; 

  • Application Expertise: Developing a deep understanding of application workflows and leveraging this knowledge to optimize and support customer projects; 

  • Feedback Loop: Actively gathering customer feedback and incorporating it to drive improvements in tools and processes. 


Infrastructure projects (50%)

  • Infrastructure Change Management: Planning, coordinating, and following up on infrastructure changes to ensure smooth operations;

  • ISMS & SLA Reporting: Reporting on Information Security Management System (ISMS) metrics, SLA breaches, and SLO compliance; 

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in managing infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible; 

  • Deployment Tooling: Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of deployment tools to ensure efficient and secure operations; 

  • QMS Metrics: Tracking and reporting on Quality Management System (QMS) metrics, including open tickets, processed tickets, and customer satisfaction; 

  • Cost Optimization: Monitoring hosting costs and planning initiatives to enhance cost-efficiency and resource allocation; 

  • Cloud Security: Auditing the security of cloud environments and proactively tightening security controls from a technical perspective; 

  • Pre-Sales Participation: Contributing to the pre-sales process by ensuring proposed solutions are secure, maintainable, and cost-effective; 

  • Infrastructure Documentation: Improving documentation, creating standardized procedures, and automating runbooks for operational efficiency; 

  • Security Access Reviews: Conducting regular security access reviews (at least annually) to ensure appropriate access controls; 

  • Backup & Recovery Testing: Performing regular testing of backup and recovery processes (at least annually);

  • Internal Tooling: Enhancing internal tools to improve both customer-facing and internal processes; 

  • Cloud Environment Management: Ensuring cloud environments remain secure, up-to-date, and optimized for all users;

  • Monitoring & Observability: Creating monitoring dashboards and tools to improve application visibility and performance insights; 

  • DevOps Roadmap: Contributing to the definition and execution of the DevOps roadmap to align with organizational goals; 

  • Helm Chart Expertise: Proficiently creating and deploying Helm charts for Kubernetes-based applications; 

  • CI/CD Pipelines: Developing CI/CD pipelines to improve workflows for development and operations teams; 

  • Enabling Teams: Building tools and documentation to empower other teams with streamlined workflows and infrastructure access;

  • Cloud Expertise: Demonstrating a strong understanding of Azure and/or AWS cloud environments. 


REQUIREMENT:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in IT;

  • Minimum 2 years of experience;

  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are committed to challenging tasks;

  • You are above all customer oriented, pragmatic, showing excellent communication skills combined with a healthy dose of assertiveness;

  • You are always eager to learn and develop yourself further;

  • You are strongly team spirit oriented with positive attitude toward shared projects;

  • Being fluent in English is a must.
