Are you passionate about managing complex data & information systems to support continuous innovation in semiconductor sensors at one of the leading companies in the world?As a data architect in the product development domain, you will lead the design of a flexible and robust data architecture that supports the data needs of both engineers and managers.Together with the data (governance) team, you will also define data policies and guidelines that ensure effective and efficient data management across the data lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with our lead data architect and be part of his team to ensure alignment with the overall company data architecture and strategic goals.

More specifically, you will

• Oversee the selection and implementation of data management tools & systems;


• Lead the design and implementation of a scalable data architecture to support product development activities;


• Design and Implementation of Data Architecture;


• Supervise the use of tools, platforms and technologies for data handling;


• Oversee the development , management and monitoring of data flows and pipelines;


• Define and ensure effective data access management;


• Recommend solutions to improve new and existing data systems;


• Guide the organization on new trends, standards and best practices related to data.

YOUR PROFILE:

You have a Master in computer science, or IT related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar role.  You have practical knowledge and/or hands-on experience with:

• Data concepts like fabric and data mesh;


• Database, data warehouses and/or data lakes;


• Relational database management systems;


• ETL & streaming functionalities like Spark streaming;


• (Big) data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake;


• Data governance processes for data quality, MDM;


• In-depth data modeling (relational, dimensional, …);


• Systems development lifecycle and project management.
