As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for an Data Architect to join its Architecture team.

YOUR ROLE:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy, with a focus on Data Mesh architecture, to align with business goals and objectives;


• Lead the implementation of Data Mesh principles, including domain-driven ownership, decentralized data ownership, and data product thinking, to transform our data ecosystem;


• Design and maintain data models, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and optimized for performance;


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish robust data integration pipelines and ETL processes;


• Define and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance within the Data Mesh framework;


• lead functionnaly data & BI professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement;


• Drive the design and development of the company's data architecture, « gluing » BI and Data Sciences architecture, selecting appropriate tools and technologies while aligning with Data Mesh principles;


• Utilize Python and Power BI for data manipulation, analysis, and scripting tasks as needed;


• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, processes, and best practices;


• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet those requirements.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field;


• Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in a data-driven organization;


• Expertise in Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting;


• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting;


• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration;


• Experience with data modeling and database design;


• Excellent communication and leadership skills;


• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude;


• Data governance and data quality expertise;


• In-depth understanding and practical experience with Data Mesh architecture principles.
