JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of ECAS’s communication and dissemination strategy and EU project-related communication tasks and deliverables.
Knowledge and understanding of the EU decision-making process and the EU funding programmes and procedures is a strong asset. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage their own workload effectively, and complete tasks autonomously.

CONTRACT:
The position is based in Brussels. The successful candidate will be offered a one-year contract with a possibility of transforming it into a permanent employment contract after a performance review evaluation. The salary depends on the experience of the candidate. The starting salary is EUR 2,000 net, including benefits. Food vouchers are provided in addition.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Communications Manager of ECAS and working in close collaboration with ECAS’ team members and partners, the Candidate will:
- Contribute to the further development and implementation of the ECAS’ communication and stakeholder engagement strategy;
- Coordinate EU project-related communication tasks and stakeholder engagement activities;
- Manage communication channels and mailing marketing tools;
- Monitor the news and compile updates;
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to promote the ECAS’ brand, accomplishments and contribution to its communities;
- Facilitate internal communications.
YOUR PROFILE:
Knowledge and Experience
- BA or Master’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or any other relevant field;
- At least 2 years in communications and community management;
- Knowledge of EU funding programmes and related procedures and/or experience in European project management is a strong asset;
- Excellent knowledge of the EU decision-making process;
- Knowledge of the role of European networks and the EU level civil society;
- Experience in engaging diverse audiences through different means at the EU level;
- Experience in designing/managing online content for social media, including visuals;
- Experience in using different analytical tools to measure reach and impact.
Skills
- English language proficiency – written and oral;
- Competence in using WordPress;
- Language proficiency in other EU languages is an advantage;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to formulate messages in a clear, concise and appealing manner;
- Advanced content creation and analytical skills for digital media;
- Friendly, social, proactive;
- Creative, innovative and result orientated;
- Team player, capable also of performing tasks independently;
- Capable of working under pressure and observing strict deadlines;
- Capable of multitasking and working independently.
