Based in Brussels, Pera is a politically independent agency specialising in digital advocacy, communications, and event organisation. Our services include targeted communication campaigns, robust membership strategies, effective public affairs, and impactful events.

We're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Communications and Social Media Specialist. This role is a perfect fit for someone passionate about social media, communications, and EU policy areas. This is an autonomous role suited for a proactive and creative individual.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Develop and implement communication strategies across various platforms;


• Craft compelling social media content for platforms like LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook;


• Create diverse content: blog posts, podcasts, visuals, infographics, research papers;


• Monitor and evaluate social media performance using KPIs to guide strategy adjustments;


• Conduct research in EU policy areas to support our public affairs efforts;


• Assist in event organisation and undertake communication-related tasks for Pera clients;


• Uphold a high level of respect and professionalism in all aspects of your work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Political Science, International Relations, or related;


• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe, and Microsoft Office;


• Excellent English skills; additional languages are a plus;


• Independent, initiative-driven, and social media savvy;


• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines;


• 1-2 years of work experience in the field of communications is appreciated.

WHAT WE OFFER:
