PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Cashflow Manager is responsible for the financial reporting of SN’s direct and indirect cashflow including monthly closing, forecasting and yearly budgeting. He/She takes up a key role of managing and improving the company’s liquidity by identifying opportunities to improve mainly the operational cashflows (working capital) and to align with LHG’s overall cashflow strategy.

YOUR TASKS:

Operational activities (actuals and forecast) – Direct method

  • Calculate weekly cashflow performance, highlight major cash inflows and outflows (bank transactions); follow-up on cash-in (sales) flows;

  • Liaise with Treasury, Accounting and the Business to understand result and upcoming payments/receipts;

  • Predict future cashflows, cash positions weekly and analyze/improve forecast accuracy.


Operational activities (actuals and forecast) – Indirect method

  • Own SN’s monthly cashflow reporting based on indirect method (accounting);

  • Prepare supporting files for understanding closing result (working capital, DSO/DPO, sales);

  • Collaborate with the different departments in order to stay UpToDate on the actualities, projects impacting cashflow;

  • Monthly cashflow forecasting based on P&L forecast and assumptions from the Group;

  • Analyze/improve forecast model and accuracy;

  • Lead cashflow budgeting process (yearly).


Controlling cash-flow for Aircrafts

  • Follow-up and report all aircrafts related cash events and items separately;

  • Lead monthly review meetings with Procurement and Maintenance & Engineering; align on future fleet estimations and costs.


Reporting to SN’s Management and to Group

  • Provide forecast monthly to LHG for hedging purposes (FIDAX reporting): 24 month forecast per currency & activity;

  • Report indirect cashflow forecast to the group monthly;

  • Review and analyze working capital developments, DSO and DPO figures;

  • Provide explanations for most important evolutions vs. last year & vs. budget;

  • Reconcile indirect cashflow result with direct cashflow;

  • Prepare cashflow statements, other financial reports, presentations for management review and decision-making.


Identify & implement levers to improve operational cashflow – working capital

  • Use cash-flow reporting and forecasting to identify development areas in the area of cashflow optimization, mainly operating cash flow & working capital optimization;

  • Launch & implement projects within the SN organization to improve cashflow;

  • Liaise with LHG and align SN cashflow strategy with overall LHG cashflow strategy.


YOUR PROFILE:

  • Master degree – Accountancy/Finance or equivalent years of experience;

  • 2-5 years work experience in a financial position with a broad understanding of accounting is a must;

  • Experience in cashflow management and reporting, as well as in a complex international accounting environment is an asset;

  • Finance & Accounting skills;

  • MS Office – excellent command of MS Excel;

  • Knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud and Anaplan is an asset;

  • Able to adapt to business changes and translate them into necessary IT/tool requirements;

  • Ability to communicate & work together across all levels of the organization;

  • Good presentation skills;

  • Solution-oriented;

  • Fluent in English; Dutch and French desirable.
