As a Business Insights Consultant within the Data department at Telenet, you help our organization to make decisions, not by gut feeling, but based on facts and data. You are the one translating the data into reports and insights that help enhance the experience of our customers and the performance of our company. 

You will join a multidisciplinary Data team where Commercial Insights or Customer Journey Analytics is central. Together with the team you will directly contribute to Telenet’s customer experience and operational excellence.

YOUR TASKS:

  • You develop curiosity and understanding of your domain’s business context and processes which positions you as a perfect data partner to your stakeholders;

  • You understand the business context and processes underlying the business requests and can reformulate it into clear insights questions;

  • You collect, query, clean, validate and manipulate the data you need from different sources; 

  • You define, build and automate reporting dashboards relevant for the business topic you are working on; 

  • You develop a proactive partnership with your stakeholders; 

  • You perform deep-dive analyses on specific insights requests that lead to actionable recommendations for the business colleagues;

  • You take an active role in the community of data professionals within Telenet, through sharing sessions, inspiration and coaching.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • You have a hands-on mentality to really dive into the data and find the answers;

  • You have strong analytical skills and embrace critical thinking;

  • You have a constructive mindset and can collaborate effectively with colleagues from various teams, both from a business and a more analytical background;

  • You have a drive to manage an analytics initiative end to end, including strong communication & presentation skills and stakeholder management;

  • You have experience in commercial reporting or in process mining / customer journey reporting; 

  • You have a solid knowledge of one of the main dashboard tools (Qlik Sense, Power BI or Tableau); previous Qlik Sense experience is a plus;

  • You have a knowledge of SQL. Experience with Snowflake is a nice to have;

  • You have a relevant degree and experience: 

    1. Master's degree in a quantitative field (business engineering, TEW, computer science, information management ...); 

    2. Min. 3 years work experience. 



  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch/French is a bonus.
