At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our UniQue team in Brussels.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN THIS ROLE:
- Analysis and documentation of the business requirements, including those stemming from legislation or a legislative proposal;
- Business process analysis and visualization;
- Business and users interviews;
- Participation in early-guidance meeting with policy teams to understand their needs and provide digital-ready guidance;
- Functional requirements and business cases analysis;
- Close coordination with the IT and policy teams;
- Assistance in drawing up Legislative Financial and Digital Statements, Business cases, Vision documents.
REQUIREMENTS:
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Possess at least a Bachelor's degree;
- Have a minimum 9 years of experience apart from studies;
- A minimum 1 year experience with information systems matters;
- Have at least 1 year of practical experience with analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.);
- At least 1 year of professional experience with collaborative sites;
- Knowledge of Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN);
- Expertise of digital-ready policymaking;
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to understand individual needs of stakeholders;
- Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences and ability to give business presentations;
- Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis;
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions;
- Analysis and problem solving skills;
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile);
- Considered an advantage:
- Knowledge of EU digital policies;
- Knowledge of the EU legislative process;
- Good knowledge of UX methodology.
- Proficiency in English language at a minimum B2 level.
