We currently have a vacancy for a Backend Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

We currently have a vacancy for a Backend Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
YOUR TASKS:
- Read and understand executable BPMN2.0 specifications, BPMN and UML models, functional and technical requirements;
- Apply implementation best practices, and existing functional requirements for back-end using project selected technologies;
- Design and develop APIs, create scalable software, and implement data storage solutions;
- Creation of micro services and databases for functionality, and integration of DevOps pipelines;
- Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement;
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues, along with preparation and implementation of test scenarios and cases;
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Strong expertise with middleware integration platforms, micro-services, macro-services and event-driven based architecture;
- Strong expertise using Java, Spring & Spring Boot, Kafka Message Broker, Relational DB Oracle, and Elastic Search;
- Strong expertise in process analysis for streamlining and automation;
- Strong knowledge and experience with Camunda framework to apply executable BPMN specification subset restrictions and Camunda specific configuration;
- Experience with GitLab, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Nexus, Crucible, Jenkins and Sonar;
- Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns, microservices and architecture in the cloud;
- Good knowledge of Event Driven architecture, Event Sourcing and CQRS;
- Good knowledge of application design, modelling tools and standards (BPMN);
- Good knowledge of Relational DBMS AND DevOps pipelines;
- Knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture);
- Familiarity with contemporary tools and techniques for process automation, Business Process Management and Modelling techniques, and BPMN 2.0 specification;
- Experience with Modern DevSecOps, Docker, Angular Kubernetes,ARIS, and Graph Databases would be considered an asset;
- Excellent command of the English language.
